Quarter Horse Breeding Statement: We will strive to produce a gentle horse that is able to be a top working cowhorse. Blue is a 2003 blue roan stud. He is homozygous for both the roan gene and the black gene. In addition, he does not carry, and thus cannot throw, the bay gene. Therefore, Blue will have only blue roan foals. If the mare carries a bay gene, a bay roan foal may be produced, but only if the mare has a bay gene. Blue is NFQHA registered as well, and is 92% foundation. Blue has consistently thrown gorgeous foals with good minds and performance ability. His sire, Leo Hancock Hayes, is the last breeding son of Blue Valentine. With his magnificent cowboy color, conformation, disposition and his pedigree, Blue's babies are simply outstanding.
